The objective of my Counselling & Psychotherapy practice is to offer a confidential, considerate, non-judgemental, and respectful setting for clients. My therapeutic approach is person-centred and holistic, considering the whole individual.

Building a strong therapeutic relationship is essential for facilitating therapeutic change and enabling clients to identify their potential treatment goals, desired outcomes, and empowering their decision-making process. I consider myself a facilitator who helps clients become their own experts rather than assuming the role of an expert on my clients.

I have completed a Masters Degree in Adolescent Psychotherapy from the University of Northampton and Dublin Counselling and Therapy Centre. I hold an honours degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy from Cork Institute of Technology and am fully accredited as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist by the Irish Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (IACP). Additionally, I possess a Diploma in Addiction Counselling Theory & Intervention Skills from Merchants Quay and University College Dublin and am a fully accredited member of Addiction Counsellors of Ireland.

I also hold a Certified training in Auricular Acupuncture

For several years, I worked in both residential and community-based addiction services, in addition to managing a thriving private psychotherapy practice located in Ballincollig, Cork. During this time, I collaborated closely with Dr. Gerard Murphy at Ryecourt Clinic and partnered with Cork City FC to provide therapeutic support to players and staff dealing with various issues. I have recently relocated my private practice to Listowel in County Kerry. I am also working with South West Counselling based in Killarney.
