My aim within my Counselling & Psychotherapy practice is to provide a confidential, caring, non-judgemental and respectful environment for my clients.

My approach to therapy is person-centred and holistic, respecting the whole of the person. I believe that building a good therapeutic relationship is the key factor needed for therapeutic change to occur and to enable clients to identify their potential treatment goals, desired outcomes and empower their decision-making. I do not believe that I am the expert on clients but rather see myself as the facilitator for clients to become their own experts.

I am currently studying for a Masters Degree in Adolescent Psychotherapy with University of Northampton and Dublin Counselling and Therapy Center.

I have an honours degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy from Cork Institute of Technology and am a fully accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist with the Irish Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (IACP).

I also have a Diploma in Addiction Counselling Theory & Intervention Skills from Merchants Quay & University College Dublin and am a fully accredited member of Addiction Counsellors of Ireland.

I also hold a Certified training in Auricular Acupuncture

For a number of years, I have been working closely with Dr Gerard Murphy in Rycourt Clinic. Throughout this time, he has referred patients of his to me for counselling and psychotherapy.

I have recently begun collaborating with Cork City FC to provide Therapy for players and staff who may be in need of support around various issues.
